विभाग युवा पेशेवरों (वाईपी) के 30 (तीस) पदों के लिए इच्छुक और योग्य उम्मीदवारों के लिए पूर्णतः अनुबंध के आधार पर आवेदन आमंत्रित किया गया है।
दूरसंचार विभाग (डीओटी) युवा पेशेवरों (वाईपी) को काम करने और सार्वजनिक आउटरीच और संचार, सार्वजनिक नीति, अनुसंधान एवं विकास योजना और विकास, परियोजना प्रबंधन आदि सहित विभाग के विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों और गतिविधियों के लिए एक अनूठा अवसर प्रदान करना चाहता है। यह विकास के जुनून और अपने संबंधित क्षेत्रों में भविष्य के नेता बनने की क्षमता वाले व्यक्तियों को शामिल करना चाहता है।
विभाग संगठनात्मक क्षमता के निर्माण, कार्यक्रम की निगरानी को मजबूत करने, योजना तैयार करने, मूल्यांकन और विश्लेषण के लिए वाईपीएस का उपयोग करना चाहता है।
इस योजना के तहत लगे वाईपी को विभाग से संबंधित विशिष्ट कार्य/ परियोजनाएं सौंपी जाएंगी। ये आम तौर पर समयबद्ध होंगे ।।अनुबंधित अवधि के दौरान पूर्णकालिक आधार पर प्रतिबद्धता और दृढ़ता की आवश्यकता होगी।

Terms and Conditions of Engagement:
i. The terms and conditions of engagement of the Young Professional will be according to the DoT Guidelines O.M. No. 30-8/2021-Admn.I dated 24.01.2022. The Guidelines are placed on DOT’s website (https://dot.gov.in/sites/default/files/Policy%20for%20engagement%20of% which stands modified to the following extent:
Para 2: In respect of engagement of Young Professionals under any of the Category/categories, DoT may reserve some posts to be filled by candidates having any of the domain-specific qualifications/desirable qualifications mentioned in the Advertisement. All other terms shall remain unchanged.
Para 5: The Shortlisting Committee(s), as well as the Selection Committee(s), shall assign marks to each candidate out of a total of 100 marks either separately or on a common platform, on criteria to be decided by the Committee(s) themselves. Para 8: Remuneration shall be revised upward to Rs.70,000/- per month
(fixed) from date of enagagement. All other terms will remain unchanged. ii. Further, it is mentioned that the number of positions for Young Professionals may vary and are tentative. The Department reserves the right to cancel the process at any stage.
iii. While applying for engagement as a Young Professional in the Department of Telecommunications, applicants will have to disclose all material facts including pre-existing health conditions and known family/educational commitments that may affect either putting in regular hours of work in the office or necessitate leave of absence (including unpaid) stretching beyond a week. This information is necessary to enable advance planning of work to be allotted, and where required, rescheduling the date of engagement so that individual’s interest as well as organisational interest are both taken care of. Non-disclosure of such relevant facts at the time of application/interview/joining or as & when known immediately thereafter will be grounds for immediate termination.
iv. The initial period of engagement shall normally be 1(One) year which may be extended for one year at time for a maximum tenure of 3(Three) years from the date of initial engagement.
v. In case a YP wishes to resign from his/her position, he/she shall furnish at least one month’s notice period or salary in lieu thereof; competent authority in the Department may waive off the condition for notice period/salary in lieu thereof, in deserving cases.

) by 1600 Hrs on 12.05.2023 after which no application will be accepted. Applications will be accepted only through On-line mode. Relevant date for counting of age and qualifications/experience will be the date of issue of this notification.
. Depending on the number of applications received, the department reserves the right to adopt appropriate shortlisting criteria for selection for engagement.
Candidates are strongly advised to apply online well in time without waiting for the last date for submission of Online Applications so as to avoid last minute congestion. Technical errors quoted at the last minute will not count as justification for time extension.
. The applications of the candidates may be shared with other Ministries/Departments for their utilization, if required; unless the candidate specifically opts out from the same in writing.
